What stands between you and your goals?  At Tree House Strategies, I work with high-achieving individuals and teams to uncover what's in their way and think creatively about how to reach their professional and personal objectives.

 

Many things can cloud our view: our habits, beliefs about our own (and others') abilities, and the chaos that surrounds us every day. I act as partner and guide to help clients clear away that clutter and move forward. I leave them in control of their own growth, providing structure and resources for their journey. I bring focus, objectivity, warmth, and provocation, all meant to generate new ways of looking at problems and solutions.

 

Lasting change happens best when clients create their own course of action, rather than being dictated solutions. Therefore, the best measure of my success is when I say less and let my clients think more.

I work with leaders, both established and emerging, to increase their understanding of themselves—their beliefs, their actions, and their relationships to others. From this foundation of greater self-awareness, we unlock the potential for professional and personal growth. 

 

We align vision and goals, address obstacles, and create actions that allow the client to flourish. My enduring objective is to help people grow their ability to lead, deliver greater value to their organizations, and achieve a stronger sense of personal fulfillment.

TEAMS

High performing teams don't succeed by accident. They become successful when they put time and energy into the team as well as their tasks. A business can truly transform when a team stops thinking like a group of individuals and starts to build the muscle necessary to listen, communicate, and operate in alignment.

I work with teams to build those strengths; to uncover the road blocks they can not easily see for themselves, and shift perspectives and actions in ways that create greater understanding, trust, and most of all effectiveness.

SARAH McCREA

In my coaching practice, I draw on more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles at large and small companies, including almost ten years running a legacy family business and over 15 years leading creative teams. I have followed as well as led. I have been part of high-functioning teams and problematic relationships. I have celebrated successes and matured through failure. Most importantly, I have learned each step of the way, and have come to appreciate the powerful roles that reflection, choice, and open-mindedness play in becoming stronger and more effective.

I am an ICF- certified Leadership Coach. I received my initial coach training at the Hudson Institute of Coaching and have a diploma in Team Coaching from the Team Coaching Studio. In addition, I have a BA in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Today, I work primarily with emerging leaders, family businesses, and creative teams who are committed to grow from their experiences and expand their capacity to master their own futures.
